Floyd Mock and his two brothers Carey and Cecil started the business in their parents' tire reconditioning garage. They opened their first store in 1972 on Country Club Road. The business has grown thanks to the relationships they have forged with their friends, family, colleagues and neighbors in the Winston-Salem region. In 1978, Tom Beroth joined forces with Mock Tire with the opening of our Stokes Tire site in King NC and, subsequently, other sites in Mt. Tom's son T. Beroth and his grandsons, TJ Beroth and Earlie Gilley, as well as Carey's son Bill, Floyd's son-in-law, Mike McKnight, and Cecil's son, Craig, carry on the same tradition of real people, at reasonable prices, very easy!
