Rapco Automotive is a tire, wheel, and auto service business with locations at 1620 West Hunting Park Ave. in Philadelphia, PA and 5 East Township Line Rd. in Upper Darby, PA. When Roy Goldstein first started Rapco Automotive in 1953, he had no idea what an amazing automotive journey he was embarking on. Neither did his twin sons, Michael and Bruce, when they joined the Philadelphia business in 1974. Bruce Goldstein retired in September 2016, leaving his twin brother Michael at the helm. Mike works alongside his son Jason, the 3rd generation of the Goldstein family running the shop. Roy Goldstein would be so proud. What started as a family-run muffler repair shop in North Philadelphia has grown into two thriving auto repair centers, complete with vehicle maintenance and tire services, and a truck and auto accessory center. There is also a separate car parts wholesale business, Car Parts Distributors, started in 1985, and owned by Roy’s son-in-law, Walt Rosenbaum. Car Parts Distributors also has two locations. Rapco stands for Roy’s Auto Parts Company. After starting with muffler repairs for American-built cars only, we have evolved into two full-service car repair and maintenance centers.
