Chris Powell

What does a degree in chemistry from Harvey Mudd College do for him in his Porsche store in Bellevue, Washington? What else but building some of the fastest racing engines in the country. With factory training on 911 engines, transmissions, fuel injection systems and turbos at Porsche / Audi University, Chris laid the groundwork to develop a solid reputation as a reliable engine manufacturer. Another stint at Bayside Motorsports for more than six years gave Chris the opportunity to b********* 24 GTR and 962 to the winner's circle on the IMSA GTP circuit. As a PCA member since 1975, Chris assists his local Porsche pushers with personal contacts in his Bellevue store as well as presenting technical sessions for PNWR, and is currently a Porsche Driving Club instructor and PCA Club racer. To show that he really respects his roots, Chris drives a beautiful blue 1964 356C coupe and a black 1973 911S - well tuned, of course!
